Marfa Studio of Arts - SITES

The Marfa Studio of Arts initiated SITES (Studio in the Elementary School) in Fall 2005 in a unique partnership with the Marfa Independent School District, with the purpose of providing high-quality visual arts instruction to all students in the elementary school, 1st through 6th grades. The SITES program brings professional artists and teachers into the Marfa Elementary School to offer an arts curriculum that is TEKS-aligned, imaginative, and responsive to the cultural diversity that exists within the school specifically, and within the community as a whole.
